It is with sincere thanks that I write to acknowledge receipt of your kind contribution via Bank Transfer for the sum of US$ 18,301/- (Rs. 3,175,294.10) towards the Relief Fund for the victims and their families affected by this senseless attack.

It is truly a tragedy as Sri Lanka was picking up the pieces and trying to make life go on in peace and harmony after the previous conflict, but some extremists struck us very painfully and now we have to collect the pieces once again. I am grateful to you all for your spirit of solidarity and closeness to us.

I also wish to express my heartfelt appreciation for this your most kind and generous gesture. Kindly convey our sincere gratitude to all those who have contributed so generously towards this fund. May the good Lord bless and reward you all for this benevolence.
